Simon Davis, B Chir Sc M Chiro, graduated from Macquarie University, Australia in 2002 and has worked in private practices in Australia, Ireland, Italy and Thailand before coming to Jakarta at the beginning of 2007. Initially motivated by a desire to bring quality health care to Asia, he has since fallen in love with Indonesia and its people (and especially the satay).

Simon, D.C. practices at the Pacific Place clinic which is designed to be family friendly; he treats patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, and is particularly passionate about adjusting children.

"More and more parents in Indonesia are seeking chiropractic care for their children . Many spinal problems seen in adults began in childhood or even as early as birth. The process of birth can stress an infant's spine and developing nervous system. The resulting irritation to the nervous system caused by spinal and cranial misalignment can be the cause of many newborn health complaints. As the child begins to participate in regular childhood activities like riding a bike, running or playing football, small yet significant spinal misalignment may occur which produce pressure on the delicate nerve system. Children also spend many hours sitting with bad posture watching TV, playing on the computer or studying; this adds further pressure on the nerve system and affects the child's future development." says Simon, D.C.

Chiropractic is relatively new in Indonesia and Simon, D.C. understands that few people are aware of it. Chiropractic is at the forefront of health care in most countries in the world; backed by cutting edge research, millions of people use chiropractic everyday. "It is very exciting to be part of a new health care movement here." says Simon, D.C.
